Best Food Scale

I am having surgery 9/14/10 and I am trying to get my stuff together.  I am looking for a decent food scale and am curious what everyone uses. 

What is the brand and model you purchased?

Is it digital or a cheaper version?

Run on batteries or plug in?

Is it portable?

Is it flat or comes with a bowl?

Overall what do you think of the one you purchased?  What are the pros and cons of it?

OXO from bed bath and beyond. small flat digital with pull out digital front incase plate or bowl is too big. Works great, runs on batteries. have not had to replace batteries yet. love it. you can get 20% off coupon on line if you search! Or sign up for their emails and get coupon! I had ordered a scale online through Walmart for like $22.  The next day I found a like new weigh****chers digital scale at my local thrift store for $4.99.  I cancelled the Walmart order.
