Starting week 2.....

So far everything is going pretty good. Have had no nausia, no real pain in my stomach sept when I go to stand or cough. Found this morning I can't lay on my side. Feels like a ton was on my tummy. :PBeen holding fluids quite well...though still, can only take in my 4oz every 2 hours as aopposed to every hour like dr says I  should be able to.

I have my pureed baby food waiting. By all means, I should be able to start on it. However, reading the papers I got before, it says my dr will beging the introduction of week 2... so I am wondering if I should wait to talk to my dr first? The thing is, I don't see him till next week, which starts week 3.

Yay! Glad everything is going well.

I didn't start a new food stage until I was cleared by my doctor. Maybe you can call their office and see if it's OK to start or it they want you to wait until they see you.

You must be reading my mind. :P I just talked to my nurse. Had to ask about something else anyways, so asked about pureed food. She told me to go ahead and start introducing my stomach to it, but to take it slow...not to just concentrate on pureed. Stick with the liquid for most of the week and have it like every 3 feedings. I just had some Applesauce. OH BOY WAS IT YUMMY! And it seems to be settling very well to. I'm a happy camper.
