Looking for people in Newton area

Hi,

I had gastric bypass June 28th.  I am now 3 weeks out. i had to go back to hospital since I got a bad infection so I am still house bound hoping to get out of her in a week or so when I go back to doctor. I would like to converse with people in my area who are or have gone through this process for suppport. I also had hernia repaired during operation.   Thanks

Hi,

I need some support not sure if you are up to it.  i had complications with my bypass and had to be hospitalized for an additonal 4 days.  I have been in the house most of the time since then although this week I started to drive and venture out.  I am very weak and the heat is killing me.  Do you remember this happening to you?  I have to drive to Natick today alone and I am paniced that I will get weak or not be able to drive home.  I have been trying to walk outside a little everyday, I have been walking indoors everyday (the hallways of my building) I find my stamina/energy level to be very low.  thanks for listening.  I had my surgery on June 28th cannot figure out how to put it in my profile.

Hi, I'm not from the Newton area but I noticed we have the same doctor. Dr. Jones did my lap band and gallbladder in 2005 and will be doing my VSG in Sept.

I hope you feel better soon, starting off with an infection is a big pain.
