Thanks Lisa!!  I can't believe I finished. I knew Sue and Katie would have no probelms and they both had incredible times!!! I'm so proud of them!!

I'm not sure if I will do another 1/2 marathon but I'm seriously considering the 10k by Tufts for women this fall. Anyone interested?  Here's the link.  http://www.tuftshealthplan.com/tufts10k/

There's plenty of time to train and talk about an empowering event!!

YES!  I'm interested!  I had thought about signing up for that and then forgot about it.  Thanks for the link.

I'd have to check with Katie, but I think I've been running the "longest" of the 3.  I started training for a 5k last august.  LOL

And yes, there is a candy bar waiting for me at the end of every race.  I DO run for food.  I couldn't kill my sweet tooth, so I had to become an athlete.

Thanks all!

I'm so proud of all of us!  It was an awesome feeling to get across that finish line.  I have a 10K in a few weeks and I will look forward to the shorter distance... but will plan another 1/2 in the future.

Robyn - for a first race, a 1/2 marathon is a HUGE undertaking.  You did an awesome job and I hope you get in some local 5Ks to build up to the 10k.

I'm considering the Tufts 10k - i just worry that it will be too crowded - I've heard rumors it's pretty tight - but it IS an empowering event!
