breast reduction/lift

Hey all,

I had my breast reduction/llft last Tuesday and everything went really well.  I can't believe that I have "normal" boobs now lol.  The surgery and recovery has been a piece of cake so far!
I wish I could go back to work tomorrow but I still have stitches in and the doc won't allow me to go back.  I get the stitches out next Wednedsay.

If anyone is thinking about this surgery, it is totally WORTH IT!!

Good Luck Des! let me know how it goes

RazzRobyn, my insurance covered  the surgery since it was "medically necessary".  You should have a consult and see if the doc thinks insurance will cover it.  The insurance companies require a certain amount of grams to be removed for them to cover it.

Hi Susie!

Can you tell me who you used as a dr?   You seem happy with him / her....   I certainly could use a lift - not so much the reduction part anymore - LOL!

 Thanks - Eliza

CONGRATS---

I am now just considering to have this done.  Where did you go and who did the surgery???

I think we met awhile ago at a small group in Burlington.

Glad to hear all is going well.

Kathy I do remember meeting you too :)   how have things been with you?

The plastic surgeon I saw is Dr Eleanor Pitts, she does surgery at Newton Wellesley and Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain.  I had the surgery at Newton Wellesley and was very impressed with the care I received there.  Dr Pitts is great, she is a nice person as well as a good surgeon.  The office phone is 617 522 0008.
