Just sharing - only you guys would truly understand
So let me preface this post with the fact that I am in a committed marriage (almost 24 years) and am very happy and fulfilled and can't imagine anything changing it -I'm a very lucky woman who is still very much in love.
That being said - last night I was out with my husband - we went to see some high school friends band. There were some classmates there as well that I haven't seen in quite some time. So we had a nice visit and all. This morning I got an IM on facebook from one of my male classmates - this is what it said :
so does your hubby feel like he is cheating on you? almost didn't recognize you last night! lookin real hot- keep it up!
Anyhow it did bring a smile to my face........
I know you ladies (and guys !) can understand more than anyone else.
And yes I shared it with hubby - he is so sweet - said - I've been telling you that forever.......
Anyhow it was one of those WOW moments I would never have expected .... and did I mention that in High school he was one of the "cute guys" that all the girls had crushes on......... lol

what a nice compliment.... ya know, I honestly feel that even though we are married people, that doesnt mean we dont need to hear that, and I myself make it a point to tell anyone that they look good, doesnt mean Im hitting on them, just means that I can appreciate how good they look. I dont think people give enough compliments, but maybe thats why when it does happen, the feeling is so great... I dunno, Im gonna stop rambling now but, Lisa, thats awesome!! I look forward to the day I can run into old friends from high school and blow their mind.... only I gotta travel 5000 miles to do that, haha
