Initial visit; immersion day

I'm meeting with the MD, MSW and NUT tomorrow.  I should have an of if the surgeon feels I'll be approved by my insurance, and hopefully a ballpark idea of what I need to accomplish to schedule the big day.  I could use as many 'positive thoughts'  (yes, and soon!!) as possible.

Woohoo!!  What an awesome group.  I feel like I've just joined a sorority.  I began this process anxious, intimidated, and a little overwhelmed.  I'm learning very quickly this is the most accepting, welcoming, forgiving group of people I have had the pleasure of being aquainted with, and good thing because I am in it for the long run.  I go back next month, closer to setting a date for surgery.  Thanks for the karma....

It went extremly well, thank you.  I should be setting a surgery date on my next visit, which I'm hoping to slide up from  mid May to early May.  I could be joining the loser's club a month from now.
