feel like I'm not losing

I'm 9 weeks post-op and down 50lbs.  I know that's a big lose, but I feel like I'm not losing.  The Dr. says 2 lbs a week, but I've been bouncing up and down the same 3-4 lbs for the last two weeks.  I'm eating what I'm suppose to and exercising a few days a week (walking video).  Is this normal to kinda plateau at this stage?

plateaus and stalls are normal at just about any time.  Your body is just trying to figure out what the heck you are doing.  Keep up the good work, it'll keep falling off, just be patient!

Congrats on 50lbs!!!!

When I was at 4 weeks post-op I hit a 3 week stall. It was very frustrating however 8 months later I'm down over 100 pounds. Just keep your chin up! Congrats!!!

Thank you for the encouragement.  I've been getting very discouraged the last couple of weeks, wondering if this is it for weight loss.  I have alot more to lose lol

Silly Rabbit....Tricks are for kids....

But seriously....you will look back at this post later and laugh...you are being silly.

You have to be kidding...9 weeks and a FIFTY pound loss...and where did you get the idea that the loss is over...NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF THIS BOARD has anyone who had an RNY stopped losing after 9 weeks and called it a day...come on...

This too shall pass!!  Good luck on the rest of your journey, it has only just begun!!!
