Help I am one month out today and sometimes nothing stays down.
welcome aboard! I didn't have stages, so I can't answer, but if nothing is staying down at all, you should call your surgeon!
Make sure you are not eating too much or too fast.

Hi Lisa,
I also have Dr. Jiser as my surgeon and I am now 6 months out. I had a problem keeping anything down for about 4 to 5 months, so much so that I had an upper GI to make sure I didn't have a stoma.Needless to say every thing was fine with me, I just couldn't grasp the new concept of eating..I still have problems with food especially when I try to sit down to a meal. I've only just realized recently that from now on I'm considered a picker and not a meal eater. And with that mentality I've had little to no problems. I've also learned that when I start to feel nausea to stop and don't try to force it, it's ok to skip a meal just make sure your getting your fluids. Although still have sensitivity to some foods, it's weird that things I ate before surgery like tuna, eggs, pork and fish still cant tolerate Yet. Hoping in time that will pass to. I wish you the best of luck in your venture and if you need an ear or an Idea just send me an [email protected]. Best of luck Lynne
