Okay, my surgery date has finaly arrived. I go in tomorow morning. I'm feeling good but it's a pain in the tush having everyone call telling me not to feel nervous. I'm actually not nervous at all, yet.  I think everyone else is worrying for me. I figure at this point worrying wont change much so my attitude is to go in like a trooper (check with me in a few hours to see if I'm wailing like a baby). I've mapped out my plans to go home after work, pack my bag, and get some rest but now relatives are coming for support and I have to pick them up at some ungodly hour despite my surgery in the wee hours of the morning. I'm being asked to cook people's favorite meal tonight for their....er....my last meal. I just want to rest. People are bickering about visits and beds and I don't want to hear it. Did everyone lose the memo that this time is about me?

Wow you guys. For months I've seen you, Lisa and Sue, cheer others on and just passed it up as nice and sweet but I can honestly say, I'm elated to have you cheering in my corner. Thank you so much. It makes a difference. I'm home and feeling good today. Haven't had any pain throughout the entire procedure and after. Things are going according to plan. Today I am a bit hungry but filling up on carnation instant breakfast and waiting for the day I can eat something of substance. I feel like I can today but I am following the plan so I have no complications. Have a great day everyone.
