Here we go again... the monthly support group meeting is next Thursday, I was curious if anyone plans on attending?

I will be there as I feel they are sooo important to attend especially during the holiday season.

I would love to meet up with people before or after the meeting!

hey -

i will def. be there!

i was going to drop you a note that i thought i saw you there yesterday.  i wanted to say hi, but was being wheeled out (discharged) and felt horrible.  went to the er with horrible abdominal pains and vomiting and was admitted.  my drinks and clears aren't going down so well  they were for the first 10 days then all of a sudden i felt horrible, each sip was painful.  then the vomiting...ug!  tomorrow will be 2 weeks for me - i can't wait to be able to eat something - i can't deal with clears and CIB much longer!!

You were at Memorial campus?  Yes I was walking there to visit the Women's center for birth control. I try not to look at paitents as I remember how I felt and looked when I was discharged, but I did see you and a I said to myself that you looked wicked framiliar.

So sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I hope things improve soon!

I remember crying/balling at my 2 week appointment due to my nausea and the CIB. It's soooo hard but do know that soon it will pass and you will be feeling better!  I thought cottage cheese was the best tasting thing in the world, it was the first food I had after RNY.  I still have a special place in my hear for it!  :)

Now I adore Cozy Shack's No Sugar Added Tapioca pudding. I say to my co-workers when I'm eating it, that it puts me in my happy place!  :)  ;)

Can't wait to see you next week, I hope you can make it!!  I will try to sit up in the same area that I sat in last month.  If you need to talk, I'm here.  :)

I will be there too and would like to meet.  Thinsomeday, I hope you are starting to feel better and hang in there, we have almost made it to the pureed stage and it will get better.

Robyn, if you look up at the seats in the auditorium, it was the top left side you were on right?
Hope to meet you all! ~ Mara

Let's see, if I walked into the room... then yes, I was sitting at the very top on the left side.  :)  (had to think about that!  ;)

Hope to see you!

That really does suck, I hope they can correct the problem fast and get you back on track.  They are amazing dr's so I am sure you will be doing better in no time.  Best wishes and take it one day at a time.
