I'm off to the Shrinking Closet tomorrow night! :)

I just paid $80.00 for a dress at the Dress Barn for a wedding I have to attend in one week. Then it comes to me, why don't I go check this place out and see if I can find a dress for less! (Then I can return the $80 dress!)  :)

They have been really nice on the phone and I can't wait to meet them down there.

I will let you all know how I make out!  :)

hey, that's what i call my closet!  :)
I got rid of clothes all winter long, made it much easier to  move. 

All i have left are some stretchy shirts from last winter that still fit (thanks old navy) and pants I've bought recently.  scary!

Where's the Shinking Closet?  I can't wait to buy smaller clothes!

It's in Avon, Ma, I guess it's only 45 minutes from Worcester. I figure I should check it out.  :)

I found a nice black velvet dress for a fraction of the cost of my $80 dress, so back it goes to Dress Barn! :)

I also found a lovely LLBean Courdroy (sp?) Barn jacket, for 40 bucks.... it's like new!  I also picked up a Cold Water Creek blazer for 25 and a Liz Claiborne blazer for 20!  I loved the store, the ladies and the selection!

Many Evening Dresses.... Business suits, Winter coats... I could have spent a MINT!

I would strongly suggest it to you all, they carry a very diverse selection and everything is in great shape. 

The owners were so good to my son since I had to drag the poor thing with me.

Thanks for this info!  I'm so excited to know about a place near by (it's only 15 minutes from me) where I could consign and get new stuff and save some $$!!!!!  

It's a really great place, I think you will love it. I can't believe how many compliments I received  (on me and my dress) at the wedding I went to.  I plan to get it dry cleaned and then re-consign it. :)
