Surgery at Tufts

Hello, 

I have my final appointment on Wednesday and was wondering how long it took you to get a surgery date?  My surgeon is Dr. Kim.

Hi Jody, I just had surgery with Dr. Kim on Monday.  I actually started the program at Tufts over a year ago but I was trying for the sleeve.  Once I finally decided to have the RNY Dr. Kim got me set up right away.

So don't worry, it won't be long now,

Thank you very much for the information.  I just received a call from Tufts and my surgery is scheduled for October 13th.  Yeah!!!!!!

Congrats!!!!  If you don't have an approval yet from your insurance I'd keep on top of Tania ( I know from expierence) I got my approval the day before my surgery!!!!
Tufts has great surgeon's!!!  You'll do just fine

I did get my approval about 2 weeks ago, hopefully everything will go smoothly.  I have a little over a month to go and I'm getting very excited.  This has been a long process, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run.  You are doing wonderful and keep up the good work!!

And about Tufts, just be prepared to walk yourself out! Its the wierdist thing but no wheelchair ride to meet your ride, they just pile up a wheelchair for you with your stuff and send you on your way. So if you have someone that can drive and someone that can meet you at your room, all the better.
