OT: prayers requested - UPDATED 8/9/09

one of members, ks4, has a daughter diagnosed with a brain tumor this morning. She will have surgery today or tomorrow at Boston Children's Hospital. They do not know yet if it is benign or malignant, but it does have to come out.

Please keep Kendra, her daughter, and the whole family in your prayers

UPDATE: tumor was malignant, but surgery went well. apparently this kind of cancer is aggressive but known to respond well to treatment. They will be meeting with Dana Farber in the next few days to discuss next steps in treatment.

consider it done. as unfortunate a situation...we are truly blessed to be in a medical mecca.
I am sure the doctors at Childrens will do their best and the outcome will be the best.

Oh no! Sue, please let Kendra know that she and her precious little one are in my family's thoughts and prayers.

God, please hold this child near and see her through this safely. Give her Mother some peace knowing that everything possible is being done. In His name, we pray.

1st goal to be under 200. Done! 2nd goal to be just obese. Third goal is to be under 170 by Thanksgiving 2009. I Pray I can make it. I know the Lord will help me through this.
