looking for plastic surgeon recommendations - Boston / North of Boston ?

Been 5 years since my gastric bypass and life is great . i play lots of tennis and workout daily but my Dr says the only way i can get rid of this excess skin is surgery. Can anyone recommend a plastic surgeon and what the costs are ?

I have one not to recommend, but he's not practicing anymore, you know, that license-removal thing gets in the way.

But, the docs who took over, not so sure -- I've watched an unfolding horror story.

Avoid BIDMC.

I used Dr. Loreen Ali ..she's in Chelmsford, MA ...and she has a Concord, NH office. I had a panni which was covered by insurance ..however...I was quoted a tummy tuck for $6800, whi*****luded her costs and the hospital fees.

I have a consult in about 2 weeks with Dr. Christopher Davidson in Wellesley.  I personally know people who have had procedures done by him and they are  my second consult with Dr. Micheal Tantillo in Brookline.  He is also associated with some Boston Hospitals.  I had my LBL with Dr. Peter Gee in Stoneham.  His prices are reasonable but I wasn't crazy about my results.  I felt like he didn't pull me tight enough.  He works on the conservative side.  I also had procedures done at BIDMC.  I had mixed feeling about the surgeon as well as the hospital.  I find finding the correct plastic surgeon for me is a much harder decisions than finding a WLS.  My advice would be go on at least 3 consultations and research and research the doctors.  I had to pay all of my plastic surgeries out of my pocket.  My insurance would not pay for anything.
