one week post op

Hello All,
  I am one week Post-Op I feel great. The first few days were tough but each day I got better. I can not wait to see how much I have lost.  I had the best surgeon ever ( Dr. Czerniach) I had a hernia which he fix before he went on. The staff at Memorial were wonderful. I can not say enough nice things about them. There was some confussion when I was ready to go in, my husband and son went to eat, so the nurse called him on his cell and when he made it back up I was already in the holding section, they let him in to see me and because our son is only 4 he could not come in, One os the nurse kept and eye on him, ( not part of her job)I was very greatful, Than after I woke up it was like 7 or so before I saw the husband agian, The nurse wacthed my son agian so I could see him, Just a wonderful expereince. Feel better now that I am able to move with little pain

Thank you for the post, great to hear especially since I'll be going to UMASS as well.  So, it's nice to calm the nerves that the nurses and doctors were wonderful.  Congrats it all went well, and best wishes for a speedy recovery! ~ Mara
