Hello MA hotties with new baby pouches!

For those of you have already had surgery and are getting used to your new baby pouches, how are you doing? I'm having a hard time with my new baby stomach. I keep wondering the following throughout the day...

Do I have gas lol?
Do I need to poop?
Am I Full?
Is it my incisions that hurt?
Am I hungry?
Is it acid reflex?

It seems as though with the new baby pouch I cant differntiate between feelings! All I feel is aches and pains. While I realize I can't eat boneless buffalo wings and down a tall Coors light on draft, I would at least like to feel comfortable after drinking a protien shake!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I've heard from some people that this is completley normal! For now my new boyfriend seems to be Peto, the only thing that takes the edge off!

Love,

Jackie

You are feeling pretty normal for being newly pouched...LOL,,,I felt so gassy for what seemed like an eternity and that clouded my feelings...take gas X....it worked for me and helped to move the gas along...walk walk walk...the more you move the faster the gas moves...

As far as the shakes...sip em...dont try to drink too much!!

Welcome to the losers bench...I just slid down for you!!

Maybe you are allergic to soy? Have you tried the SF Carnation Instant Breakfast? They are great.

I read your other thread about moving yourself up on the eating schedule. I would for sure call your doctor/nutritionist. They have a reason for pacing us.

Hi Jackie,

I never seem to know when I am hungry, all I know is I have to eat something, so I do. I had a really hard time with my shakes and changed it from a milk base to a water base, it gose down a whole lot easier and does not make me feel sick after I drink it. I also noticed by shaking it instead of putting it in the blender helps because it's not as thick and foamy.
