 Hi Everyone,

I will be 4 weeks post op on Monday and have lost 30 pounds so far...which is wonderful!!! The last week I have stayed the same- nothing is moving on the scale. I have been getting all my protein in and I am very close to my fluid intake. I have started walking and I am just getting frustrated. Please tell me that the scale will move and I am not just stuck here!!!!

What else can I do? Does anyone have any suggestions???

Please help!

it is very common for the weight loss to stall. often around 3 weeks and you say you are at 4.  I would stall for about 2-3 weeks, then loose 2 pounds...stall again..and loose 2 pounds.
Your body is catching up with the weight loss.   Just keep on the plan and this will work. Don't despair.

Totally normal.  A lot of people take their measurements during scale stalls since apparently you are still getting smaller even when the scale doesn't move.  I just hunkered down and kept going, weighing in only on Mondays.  it will eventually move!

screw the scale.  all i want is to see my clothes get baggy, and for my bras to fit me again, and then NOT fit me again.  baggy clothes!  baggy clothes!  (thank god i live a block away from a thrift shop to make my downsizing ever so economical!)

RNY 6/16/09 - Last weighed 10/27/2011 weighed 151 lost 52 pounds  66% toward personal goal  of 125, six pounds from unofficial unpretentious goal of 145lbs......basically very happy.   boo-rah, RNY!
