Bloodwork... YAY!

My iron test came back and my anemia is gone and my iron levels look good! Surgery is a GO! WHO HOO!

I had to share my news.... it's been one hurdle after another since I started this process 14 months ago. I can't believe I am less than 4 weeks away from my surgery date!!

Currently maintaining at 125 lbs.

yay robyn!!!!! woo hoo!!!!! we're probably the last two from our class.
i know what you mean about being nervous, im less than 3 weeks away... how did i get a date before yours? weird.

They had actually offered me 7/20 but no one was available to get me to the hospital so I had to take the next week.

i cant wait! we're definitely in the same boat. we should find some time to grab a coffee or something before so we can feel more confortable keeping in touch after too. i cant remember, do you have any kids?

Hi Robyn, good for you!
Now make sure you and your doc/nutriionist have a plan to keep it up after the surgery. I started testing low in iron on my 5-6 mos checkup. Have a plan so you don't slip back.
