6 months out!

Yesterday was my 6 month surgerversary ! ( not sure of the spelling)
It's hard to believe it's been 6 months already.  I'm down 80lbs and feel great!
My energy level has improved immensely.  I'm also eating healthy foods,no sugar, no caffeine and no fast food.  Sometimes when I stop and think how far I've come in one year, it's hard to believe.  A year ago I was eating very unhealthy, not exercising as much as I am now, and I was a heavy smoker.   June 21 will be my one year anniversary of quitting!  I have to say that I am
quite proud of myself :)

That is so awesome.  I know how you feel.  I can not believe the difference in how I feel in a little over 2 months so here I come 6 months.

I am so proud of you...you really are doing so well and sticking with it.

Quitting smoking is a HUGE hurdle.  I would rather have surgery a few times instead of having to quit smoking.  I have never smoked (well, a little here and there in college but not really!) but I know it is HARD!

WTG!

Thank You Sue and Stasi :) It's so nice to know that there is support on here :)
It's sad to say that surgery was easier than quitting smoking!  But so glad I did it and have vowed never to smoke again!  I'm enjoying breathing ;)

Congratulations on the weight loss and the stopping smoking! I am sure it was hard to stop smoking with everything else going on!
