Brockton Area Support Group UPDATE

Ok - so we had  a pretty good response to a meeting in the Brockton area. I believe I have found a location - it is actually in Bridgewater - I will be submitting a proposal to a church - they will offer it free - but we should probably give them a donation every time ? I'm thinking by the time we drive into Boston, and pay for parking - It costs over $10.00 every time I go. So a small donation doesn't bother me. What do you all think ?

It would be on Monday evenings - and I was thinking once a month would be good ?

Monday eves don't work for me at least until the end of June, but I'll keep an eye out for details and try to make what I can.

HI .. i was wondering if this support group was only for RNY or could lap band people join... Im very interested in joining a local group .. i live im middleboro ma so bridgewater would be perfect... i wouln't be able to come to the june one im currently taking a college course and it's on mondays... let me know and thanks :) LIsa

Oh ok thanks :) im accually taking a class at bridgewater state college ... servicing the preschooler with special needs.... :) im a teacher and finishing up my degree... :) i look forward to the next meeting in july :) 

Wow it appears we might have some stuff in common - I teach preschool !! Would have loved taking the class you mentioned - one of the only ones I haven't taken yet !! Are you teaching now ?

yeah it was accually being offered for free through eec i think im not sure... and yes i teach now... i teach at a private learning center in lakeville im the kindergarten teacher... :) where do you teach
