overhealing
i'm wondering if this is the same thing as a stricture, where the opening from the pouch to the intestines gets too narrow due to development of scar tissue. happens in about 20% of RNY's post-op of i remember correctly. if i'm wrong i know someone will post : )
oh and i had an endoscopy pre-op for my GERD, at my clinic they do "awake-aware sedation" which sounds freaky but basically you aren't under general anaesthesia but you don't remember anything that happens, which is great, because it's easy to do outpatient, and takes about 30 minutes. it was a breeze at least for me.

RNY 6/16/09 - Last weighed 10/27/2011 weighed 151 lost 52 pounds 66% toward personal goal of 125, six pounds from unofficial unpretentious goal of 145lbs......basically very happy. boo-rah, RNY!
