Sorry I have not been around... My Grandfather passed away.

Sorry I have not been active here on the board. My Grandfather passed away,  I was very, very close to him. I have been really struggling with the loss on top of trying not to eat through my grief. It's so hard.

I understand. I had one grandfather that I knew. It has been 9 years since he died. You know that I miss my grandparents now that they are gone. I m glad he lived so very long. My grandmother was the strict one, and he was the easy going one in the family.

My heart goes out to you!  I loved my grandparents so much I changed my last name and took theirs...and I miss my grandfather every day.  I hope you find peace and strength to get through this difficult time.
