New to the board!

Hi everyone!  I am currently going through the WLS program at Salem hospital.  I already met with the surgeon (Dr. Buckley) and my next step is to meet with the psychiatrist and nutritionist.

Has anyone else had their surgery through the Salem program? 

I have been looking into this for some time now and I hope that my insurance approves this surgery.  It most deffinetly is not an easy solution to weight management, but i'm so ready to go through with this.

Well I look forward to meeting new people and chatting more about WLS.

I have a friend that is currently going thru the process to have her surgery at Salem.  She knows a handful of nurses that have gone thru them as well and they all have been very pleased with their program. 

Keep us updated and do lots of reseach!! Welcome aboard..

I had my surgery at Salem, with Dr Buckley, in December.  I adore Dr Buckley, he is a great surgeon!  The program at Salem is very good.  I just finished the 12 week aftercare program at the Heart and Wellness Center.
