Does any hospital in MA do the DS?

Hi Everyone,

My name is John and I live in TN.   I had the Duodenal Switch on 02/24 and now my little sister who lives in MA is thinking about having the DS.   I have been helping her research but I can not find any surgeons who do the DS in MA.   Does anyone know of any?

I recently asked the same thing for a friend of mine; I was told the nearest state would be New York.

Thanks for the reply.  It looks like my sister may have to come to TN to get the DS.  While NY is closer to MA, it would cost for a hotel pre surgery and post surgery so I think it might be best for her to come here and use my surgeon (and I adore my surgeon so that always helpd)

Hi -  I think it would be great if your sister could go to TN and have someone like you to support her with the surgery.     I've heard the DS is really good, don't know why MA doesn't do it.
