I have been on the OH website for a while but I was told there was a state forum and I wanted to come through send a hello to everyone and maybe get to know some individuals as well. Wanted to know if there are support groups and if anyone has gone through Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center? Looking forward to meeting New Individuals and hearing how your journey is beginning or how it has been.

My journey started last February and finally had surgery in November 08. Things have gone very well since then, and I hope the good times keep coming!

I started this journey almost 5 yearas ago. Life just kept getting the way. I finally had my surgery on 12/01/08 and I couldn't be happier. The surgery was smooth and the post-op has been smooth. I am down 51 lbs and have joined a gym and actually love to go there. WHO KNEW ?????
It is a whole new life. Hope things are going as smooth for you !!!
