Just discovered a new treat for me...  It is plain old yogurt eaten frozen.  It gets icey but when in melts in your mouth it is creamy.  It is delicious.

My current favoorite flavor is Dannon's light and fit - Pineapple coconut.  Too bad is a seasonal one.

I got an ice cream maker for Christmas so that i could make my own lower fat, no sugar ice cream, and I definitely plan on testing it out with some plain yogurt and my choice of mix-ins.  you too could do the same and have your pineapple coconut all year long!!

MMMMMMMM!  That would be good.  Cause then I could get some coconut extract (cause I don't actually like the texture of coconut, just the flavor!) and some pineapple.  Maybe I would be able to stomach the greek yogurt if I mixed all that in.

you can even throw protein powder into the mix to up the protein if you don't like Greek yogurt.  :)  We're still experimenting but you can visit Eggface's website for delicious ice cream recipes... and all kinds of recipes!!

Have you tried greek yogurt with frozen cherries & splenda?  I get the plain 0 fat Fage or Chobani greek yogurt and mix it up with Dole frozen black cherries & splenda -- it tastes like Cherries Garcia icream minus chocolate chips --  you could throw a few unsweetened chocolate chips in too, if the sugar doesn't bother you.

I have an aunt who eats the frozen cherries and yogurt all the time.  It is her fav sweet treat craving.  I can't seem to find the frozen cherries.  I have only been to shaws and Market Basket in Ashland though.  I am not a fan of cherries if it is not artificial flavoring though.  But with the rave reviews of it I want to try them, just can't find them.

P.S. I have not had surgery yet (Less than three weeks away though!) so there is nothing that bothers me quite yet.

I get mine at Stop & Shop -- Shaw's never has them, but most of the S & S stores do.
