If you have your "report of Surgery"  the Surgeons dictated surgical note, and it doesn't state that he applied a mesh then you don't have one.  I can't recall all of the names of the meshes used but one that comes immediately to mind is Marlex.
I hope you can get all your tests set up in one day  then it'll be over and done.  Sometimes though luck isn't on your side and they split them all up on different days, what a pain!
I'l keep you in my prayers

Thank you so very much!
I will look reread my old surgery papers tomorrow and get back to you. But I think I did see that word! Bummers!
Do you go to meetings? My buddy Stanley, an older gentleman I know, gave me dates for his meetings. I think he goes somewhere near Drum Hill area....I was thinking of going to other meetings for more information.. It's good to meet other folks too. And hear their story..
How are you doing? I'll have to go check out your profile..Thanks for the heads up. Thank you for your Prayers too. I sure need them. Take care, you are too sweet! Hugs Alizka

No I don't go out of the house much at all.  I wish I could.  I have pretty severe back issues and that's one of the reasons I want to have a revision of my RNY.  Now that I can't do exercises or walk for exercise I have regained a great deal of what I lost. Its a vicious cycle as we all know;  the less I exercise the more I gain the less I can walk ..........and on and on.. The surgeon is pushing a Stomaphyx for the dilated stoma.  But even with the risks inherent in an open revision ( I have to have an open procedure also)  I am now leaning toward an extended RNY because I will really need to keep as much weight off as I can in order to be able to continue walking

Hi Mipo1,
I did reply to your post, i don't know why it did not post! I am so sorry. I am so sorry that you don't get out of your house much. I looked at your profile.. It says you have low BMI, 37.2.
I read many post here at OH that the extended RNY it is horrible!! You have to live near the toilet bowel! They claim they have very serious bowel issues. I have no idea what my surgeon is doing with my RNY. I told his Nurse RNY is what I wanted.. I sure hope that is what he is doing! Yikes I never thought to ask him! Some Surgeon just want to put a band over old stomach stapling. I did not know they did RNY back in 1998.. You had RNY? Right? I thought it was stomach stapling back then...Thank you so much for your responds to my post. Alizka
