Fitchburg Water Park apologies

Hello All -  I know we had tried to get a get together going, and I got cold feet about setting stuff up, and BOY am I GLAD!    Although the waterpark was fine, the hotel wasn't.   We ended up leaving early and getting all of our food costs credited, and I really don't like complaining about stuff (except the weather!). 

The waterpark was good, but expensive if you just go for a day.  The kids got tired after about 2 hours.  The slides were good, the lazy river was a lazy traffic jam.  I heard the alcoholic drinks were good, but it was just me and the kids.  I also heard the pizza hut concession was ok, but when I went up there they wouldn't take room charges, so it was disappointing.  The hotel restaurant only served buffet, and the bistro food wasn't good, except the starbucks coffee. 

Oh well.

Maybe in the springtime we can do a simple get together.  I'd be happy to host it in my home (Medway, MA -  @ 15 minutes south of the Pike/495 intersection) or if there's a spot that's more central to everybody.

Thanks for the review.  Sorry you had a bad time there.  I have heard a lot of people talking about that place lately but had never heard of it until recently. 

I would be in for a Medway gathering.  I love it there!  I grew up there and don't live far from there now.

I am busy the last week in March...other than that it may be open sailing for me.
Not that I know all plans of all people in family...

Maybe late April would be good.  i start a new career - not just a job - the 3rd week of March, so will probably be a little (!) stressed! 

What is the new career you are starting?

I'm starting in Real Estate Sales!   I need to do something that can move to a warm climate when I do, and I figure it's a good time to learn, because if I can succeed in this market, then it's the right career move for me!

I've been a "SAHM" for quite a few years now.
