I had my bypass Nov. 5th and I am very glad I did it, however, I am still having a problem eating.  There are days that I go with nothing bu****er.  I am down 64lbs since surgery and a total of 84 since this time last year.  I really think it is totally psychological and wondering if anyone had any of these kinds of issues??

The first 4 - 8 weeks I had trouble eating but after that i tolerated food and my diet expanded to more and more kinds of foods. Always in very little amounts. I couldn't eat much. I had my open rny in January and I remember going to a barbecue in July and being able to eat only 1/4 of a hamburger. And I was completed satisfied and full with that.

But you are 4 months out. You should be able to eat daily now. Small amounts, but eating every day.

Have you asked your doctor about it? If so, what did he say?

Call your surgeon. You cannot survive long on fat stores. I hope you know that it could be too restrictive an opening and they can fix that.
You need to contact your surgeon immediately. Do not let this go on.
