I need a little help/advice.  I am six months post op from RYN surgery,  I have lost a total of 90 lbs. (20 prior to surgery and 70 since my surgery on 7/31/08) I am noticing that I can definately eat more food at one time and I find myself looking to "snack" even when I am not hungry.  Please help, I never want to return to my old eating habits.

Thanks

No you do not want to return to old habits.

Make sure your snack is a protein one...like almonds. Not a chip snack. I like peanut butter and carrot sticks for a snack.

You will be tempted but you will succeed.

I worry about the same thing, I'm 4-1/2 months out, and find that I can eat more at one time.

I know I have to be careful.  I will have a "laughing cow" and crackers.   I try to keep a protein bar anywhere handy (in the car, kitchen, etc.) that I will grab and eat.     Because you are worried, I bet you won't return to those habits.   It's too important for you (and for me!)
