just wondering if anyone out there has had their surgeries there or are planning to have theirs there...I am 2 weeks post op and was planning to go to the monthly support group and and I didnt know if any of you are going to them....

I had my 2 week post op as well and want to go to a monthly support group.  Haven't scheduled one yet.  I was thinking of the 3rd tuesday @ 6:00.

I just signed up for the 2nd Monday at 6:00, ...so how are you feeling 2 weeks out? I am feeling pretty good a few aches and pains but nothing bad at all.  I am down 27 pounds, which I am excited about, had some trouble last night taking my pills, I took to big of a sip of water and started to feel really sick to my stomache and had the cold sweats...so i now know to never take to big of a sip again !!!! lesson well learned...lol talk to you soon

I am post op with Dr. Tarnoff, banded in 2005.  Do they have support group meeings earlier than 6:00pm?  Any during the day or around 4:00?

yes they do they have the 1st Monday of the month at 3, the first Tuesday of the month at 11:00, the first wednesday of the month at 10:00, and the 3rd Thursday of the month at 12:00, and finally the 1st and 2nd Monday at 6:00 the 2nd, 3rd and 4th tuesday at 6:00, 4th wednesday at 6:00 for gastric bypass post op and for band post ops are the 3rd Monday at 6:00 and 2nd Wednesday at 6:00....hope this helped

I had my surgery at Tufts on Nov 19th. I am signed up for the 2nd Monday at 6:00.
