Tufts/NEMC plan

I can change. I am going Monday night but I am like a kid with lots of questions.

The 6 month program I can change, what does it entail exactly?  How many trips into Boston should I plan on. Is a surgery date determined within that time span or once it ends?  Anything else you can think of to share is appreciated.

I am leaning more towards the sleeve but it sounds like most insurance (I have Tufts) won't cover it.  What would out of pocket costs be like?

Thank you!

I did the I can change program, but I did it over the phone, rather that having to make all of those trips to Boston.  They made appts with me, for when they would call and do an interview, I thinnk it was once every couple of months.   Let me know if you have any more questions, and Good Luck!!!

If you have Tufts insurance you should call and register (today) for the I can change program. I believe the 6 mos is monitored by Tufts, and not your physician.
NEMC might have you also attend behavioral classes in addition to what your health insurance wants.
My suggestion...get a notebook or  a folder and put some paper in it. Whenever you speak to someone make notes..date and time and who you spoke with. Sometimes this process becomes overwhelming and you may need to check back on your notes.

Good luck..Joan
