I'm new
Hi, My name is Moncia and I just had the gastric bypass through St. Vincent's in worcester by Dr. Paul Arcand last wednesday the 5th. I actually thought the few days after the surgery were the worst! But I am able to take a few weeks off of work and rest adn walk...I am haveing a problem with my blood sugars...i take metformin 1000 in AM and 1500 in Pm and I find that all day my readungs are 130 - 160, which is higher than before. I was on Byetta and they tols me to stop. Anyone ahve any similar to this?? Thanks, Monica

Congratulations for being on the losers bench. I can't help you because because I have not had surgery yet.. don't even know if I can.... I sure hope I can...I sure hope someone here can help you...Maybe you need to call your surgeon. Best wish's. Alizka

1st goal to be under 200. Done! 2nd goal to be just obese. Third goal is to be under 170 by Thanksgiving 2009. I Pray I can make it. I know the Lord will help me through this.
