Today was my last phone call with my health coach from the I Can Change program that Tufts Helath insurance put me through - whooohoo!!!  I have a message into Dr. Gazmuri's office to submit for approval!  Wish me luck!

The office called and told me they are submitting today and i should have approval and a DATE by early  next week.  UNBELIEVABLE

What did you think of the program? Did you get anything out of it. So many of us are grateful that we don't have to do it. I admire your perserverance.

for me, the program was silly.  i did a lot more outside the program because i knew i had to endure the 6 months, and those things were beneficial - i food journaled, i was in talk therapy, i tried new foods, i gave up old foods.  I think i made the most of the time, but the program itself was pathetic.

EDIT:  I forgot to mention the most beneficial thing I did, which was find this group!!!  I'm so grateful to be online and in person with everyone on OH - I have learned the risks, the rewards, and to see what is possible.  I am a professional researcher, so having a resource like this has made my research easy.
