Back to Nature Hi Protein Crunch Cereal

is discontinued!!!!  UGH my DH has this every morning w/ yogurt and fruit, and I have it just about every other day.  I noticed our S&S had been out of it for weeks, then tried to get it on Amazon as I have done before, nope no luck then finally to their website and S.O.L again.  I emailed and got back an auto response that they would get back to me w/ an answer but it had the # to call so I did and got the bad news.  She apologized and said they just didn't have the demand for it.  I told her alot of gastric bypass patients would be upset so if you use it stock up, if not and feel like stocking up for me (only 1/2 kidding I would obviously pay you)  My hubby is going to be so upset.  I don't think I have been so upset over a product being discontinued.

I really like that cereal too, but had a bad reaction to it last week.  Dr. Partridge said it is too many carbs for me (hypoglycemic issue).

When I'm at the store, I can check if they still have some and grab it for you!

Thank you, if you find it let me know and I'll send you the money for the cereal and postage.  Hubby and I would be eternally grateful, had my SIL check at her grocery stores and they were empty e/ discontinued signs.  I have my Mom scouring around her area too

I normally shop at Market Basket, but I happened to run into Hannaford tonight and they didn't have any.  I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya!

Gwen - I know how you feel !   I'm on my last reserve box of Citracal Chewy Bites and I'm freaking with not having anymore.  I hate taking the pills and the powder isn't that bad - just an inconvenience.  I work for a medical co that deals with skin cancer and acne drugs and we just discontinued an acne product because of low demand and it's amazing how many people call asking why.  But it's a business and they say we cannot supply so few people and of course not make any $$$$$. 
Good Luck with finding a substitue.  When I get the urge for cereal, I reach for the Kashi Honey Almond Flax and usually about a 1/2 cup dry.  It's like a sweet snack and curbs that urge to reach for something bad !

I certainly understand the need it just makes it harder for me to stock up being on an island, had I known this last time I was off island I would have bought more!  I may head off Saturday for a little shopping and cereal searching lol

I know eventually we will have to find a substitute.  I guess I'll start trying new ones in the process
