pre-op testing

Hi all, I am going for my pre-op testing at Memorial next Wednesday...can anyone tell me what to expect as far as what kind of test they do? I have no pre-existing conditions, so I'm hoping it should be fairly simple...any imput? Thanks!

Usually when you meet the doctor he takes blood and gives you a to do list.. it takes a few monthss to complete

I have completed everything and have a surgey date 1 week after my pre-op

I am having surgery next week ,  I just finished pre op.  I  had to do more blood work, a chest  xray and ekg and a breathing test. ,

I had some blood work and a urine sample, EKG, chest xray.  I also met with the nurse, ansth.  met with the surgeon and signed my life away and to ask any last minute questions.  For me it was an all day afair.  Good luck with your upcoming surgery.
