HIATAL HERNIA

HI everyone....haven't been here in a while.  i guess when we lose the weight we get on with out lives.  im in a size 4 that i am very proud of. i've been out 1 1/2 years and feel wonderful.  I've been noticing some pain in my chest and went for an Upper GI and barium swallow and they found that I have a Hiatal Hernia pressing on my pouch.  Has anyone experienced this and what do they do about it?  I am going to see the surgeon.  I really don't want to have to have surgery.  I am hoping that the purple pill will help.  thanks.

I know this is an older post. What happened with your hernia. A CT Scan just showed pouch through hernia and pressing. Was wondering what they do, my follow up for this with the WLS isnt for another week.

Good to see you posting and about your wonderful
weight loss success..... NOT SO GOOD to read your
stressful news. I have not had any experience with
the hiatal hernia, but have heard of others that have
had this. Maybe if you post on the Main Board you will
get more feedback?
