Sue,,, I have been unhappy for years, and I finally got the strength to do something about it. this is really had for me to do, because we have been married for 12 years. maybe it is just me that changed, but I was just as unhappy before I lost this weight. It is hard because there are kids involved, and we have alot of debt. I do not know what is going to happen next. There are kids and families involved, and lots of hurt and pain. I am causing it,, and I don't know what to do. I need to get me happy again/\.
In that case, good for you for doing what is best for you. In the end, happy parents are what is best for kids, and you deserve the best that life has to offer. Even when things are hard, they always work out in the end. That may sound corny, but it's what I believe....and I've been through my fair share of trauma.
A lot of people blame their depression on their weight - but often it's the other way around. Losing the weight won't cure our unhappiness, it just clears up some things so we can find out why we're really unhappy. I've found out a lot of that before my surgery....so I'm a little worried to see what happens afterwards! I know I'll be ok though, and you will too!
*hugs*
