Just got my date... July 16th at New England Medical Center. I am having gastric bypass. I am nervous and excited. I am confident in my surgeon. Dr. Shikora... I pray all goes well and their are no complications. Looking forward to throwing out all my syringes and medications. !!!!!!

Janet, I'm so excited for you! We'll have to check on each other since my date for RNY is July 17. Are you having open or laparascopic? Leila
