Need some MA feedback on revisions

Had my RNY in 2002, lost over a 100 lbs.... haven't been able to lose the rest... Still morbidly obese and was asked to participate in a study for ROSE procedure. Found out that my stoma and pouch are way too big, but I was dropped from the Lahey study because BCBS of MA will not cover it. Soooo, I am trying to find a way to have an endoscopic revision done by an MA doctor. Does anyone know anything that might help me move in the right direction? Lisa

WOW..that sounds like a crappy deal....What does the doc who did the scope say....RNY revisions are tough....There is not a lot to work with....It can be done but it is tough...maybe post on the revisions board about a doc in the area. So one question...will BCBS do a revision for you (pay for it) they do have a bariatric out of area listed on BCBS of MA website Good Luck...
