band to rny?

How many Massachusetts bandsters do we have converting to RNY?  It seems like I have seen various posts on different boards.  Just wondering if we can connect. Joan (waiting for insurance change to convert)

Joan- I am pre-op but was wondering if you had given any thought to having the sleeve done instead of the RNY.  It certainly is harder to get covered by insurance but was just curious.  I am trying to get approval on the sleeve and have been on the VSG board a lot and see a lot of banders converting to sleeve. Hope you dont mind me asking.  Good Luck

Hey Joan, I have the "Band" and am doing fine with it.  What type of problems have you had?  I also have Dr. Lautz.  You seem to have had it quite sometime.  Just curious. Cindy
