Hi Christian, Thank you! Ya I'm struggling with the water and the protein right now.  All my own fault.  Like I said in an above reply, I wish I could have iced tea in place of the water.  I'd do so much better.  I have Unjury, but I've been having an issue with milk lately.  My pouch doesn't seem to tolerate like it use to.  Strange.

Hey Kendra- I'm clearly no expert on any of this, but the amount of caffeine in that is really not a lot...You could dilute it with another 6-8oz of water to make up for the caffeine...I drink A LOT of crystal light (100+ per day usually), some of which have small amounts of caffeine and I've managed to do well with it, since I dilute it (it says to put into 16oz, I put it into 32oz and still enjoy the flavor without the sweetness)...I personally think that unless you are talking about Jolt, that amount of caffeine is really trivial, especially if it is no or low calorie...I'd go with it and see what happens, unless you know that small amounts of caffeine effect your daily life, or if your surgeon and nutritionist expressly prohibit it.

Jen, I have no idea how caffiene is calculated, but it isn't listed on a nutrition facts label.  Attached is the nutrition facts for the tea I've been drinking.  I had for a long time been drinking nestle raspberry splash flavored water, but I just can't do it anymore.  I've been drinking it for so long that it's now time for a change.  Arizona does now have a decaf version of this tea, but I haven't been able to find it yet on the shelves.    nutritionfacts.jpg picture by salafiak

HI Kendra, Your post struck me regarding the milk.  The same thing has happened to me in the last week.  I don't get sick, but after a protein with milk I feel a little queasy and rumbly.  I thought it was odd because that hasn't happened to me at all since the surgery.   I hope it passes for both of us.  Often when I am in a hurry for breakfast I have a milk based protein shake. Sorry to hear you missed your goal, but you are doing fantastic, so don't get down!! Take care, Julie

I feel the same way with milk again.  I'm afraid to try it again, but I know I need to.  I'm feeling a little queezy today, so today is not the day for me to try it again.  I  this morning.  I had some orange juice and it just felt like a lump in my throat and it came up.  Nothing else has happened.  I'm hoping that's it, but with my luck there's more to it.  Especially since my baby girl has been sick since Tuesday.  She is STILL sick.  Throwing up and diarrea.  Poor thing.  She's tired of banana, rice, apple's & toast. As for the goal, I was bummed about it, but I'm not letting it get to me to much.  What's really bothering me is my husband is leaving for AZ this Thursday without me for 5 days.  I'm left here in the miserable weather with a bunch of kids.  How'd I get that end of the stick? Looks like you're doing fantastic!  Defiately post new pics!!!
