fistula

I am 3 years out and have had countless hernias, now I have a fistula and my dr is going back in....they should have put velcro in me. What I understand is he is going in to do the bypass over, has this ever happened to anyone or is it just me?????????

I've never heard of anyone having a fistula so far out from surgery.  Does he have any idea what's causing it? Best of luck with getting it all resolved ! Suzanne
