Have some nice clothes (size 24) up for grabs

Hey All, I posted a while back seeing if someone out there needed size 24 clothing, but then I didn't have my surgery until the end of November (vs. mid-Oct. which I orig. thought would be the timeline. I have some nice size 24 clothing--nice work stuff (suits, skirts, blouses) and some pants. If anyone in Eastern MA is looking for clothing, please let me know. I'd love to see it put to use!

where abouts in eastern mass are you?

I live near the junction of routes 93 and 95, just north of Boston.

My best friend is in need as she's contemplating WLS.  Right now she's back struggling with Atkins and after 4 months is only down 22 lbs.  The more she talks to me, the more she's wanting to look into the surgery but still scared because she only has 1 kidney after donating it to her sister many years ago.   If you'd be willing to pass them on to her and then she'd pass them on as well, I could meet with you and get them.  I know this would be a blessing for her. Thanks.

I'd be happy to pass them on--I'd be much happier knowing that they actually went to someone who'd use them (vs. dropping them in a donation box where you don't know if someone will actually wear them!)  Are you able to meet me this weekend? Send me a PM and we can set a time/place.

Mary--I did find a home for the clothes with the first respondent. I do anticipate having other clothes to pass on and I'll be sure to post, so I may be able to help in the future (as you'll need smaller sizes soon!) Good luck with your surgery!!! Ellen
