9 days post op and 19lbs lighter!!

I weighed in with Dr P today and she was happy to tell me i lost 19lbs since surgery!!!  Thats more then 2lbs a day!! I am SOOO happy!!! I am finnally on a role!

Congratulations Amanda-  I am amazed at how fast the wt loss reallly happens!  My  RNY surgery is scheduled for Nov 5th.  Do you mind my asking- how do you feel?  I have a 5 and 6 year old and just don't know what to expect post op in terms of discomfort and activity level. I know what the MD says- but what about someone who is living it??? Congrats again and keep up the great work! Carolyn

Carolyn,  I have four children 13, 6, 3 and 23 months and I run a daycare out of my house.  I had my surgery on Thursday Aug 23rd, and I was running my daycare and taking care of my own children on Monday, Aug. 27th.  My husband works second shift, so I had no help from him.  Other than being very, very, very tired, I felt fine.
