8 Days Post OP

Well 8 days post op and other than a few pains here an there I couldn't feel any better.  My Doctor said I would be out of work 3-4 weeks.  I am itching to get back now.  Hopefully after my follow up on Monday(staples coming out)  he will let me go back to my desk job. I got on the scale this morning and I am down 13 pounds already,  WHO HOOOO This is just the start of my journey  &  I can't wait for the next step. Thank you everyone for listening(reading) I know I got frustrated along the way.  I have to keep reminding myself that although I thought it took a long time, there are people out there battling insurance companies for longer than I.

I had surgery on September 18th and gladly went back to work October 3rd.  I haven't had any issues with that.  I keep a case of water under my desk at all times and make sure I bring all my vitamins and food.  So far, so good...knock on wood.
