I made it in one piece....i'm here!!!
Well....ok, I been here for a little while now. :P But yep....it was a long tedious trip. Very tiring, although not too boring. Got lucky and met this nice young lady, her son and daughter and a little bitty woman *****minded me of my Aunt Burt at the switchover in Atlanta, and they were on the ride all the way in. So yep...it was fun at least. Poor dear, she almost cried when I said goodbye. DANG...forgot to get her number. Ah well.
Anywhoo! Still trying to get my disability switched up here. They said it's been done, so I just gotta wait till the first to see if the check comes in....not so sure about medicaide though. Think i'm gonna have to call teh office again. I need to find me a local doc as I think i'm getting sick, which ain't too fun. I had forgotten just how drastic the cold is here, the dampness in it and I wasn't prepared for it.
I have only 2 long sleeve shirts and no coat. So going out too much won't be happening for a while cause it just too darned cold out there. :P Fortunately enough, I got heat in the house. :) Ok...so..How's everyone else been doing? All set for Halloween? We are just about done. Anyone living in or around Indian Orchard...by all means...drop by. Supposed to be a lot going on here. Ya aughta see the siege engines we got out here. :P Oh..if ya don't know what that is...it's a very big crossbow on wheels. As big as cars. :D And yes..they are fully functional. I'm at 169 Hampden Street. Comeon by, have some fun with us...we'll have candy for the kids...Fred said something about hot cider....should be fun.
GONNA!?!? LOL! Oh heavens...i'm already freezing. :P I can't believe the huge difference between here and georgia. And ya know what the funny part about being here is? I GREW UP HERE! Yea..from 1965 to about 1978 and I used to play football in nothing but shorts and t's in 4ft of snow to. And this simple little 40% weather is making me freeze??!!?? LOL! Have mercy. It sucks to get old sometimes. :P LOL!
