When do you start to get that full feeling.  I'm nervous because I haven't had that feeling yet. Kendra

For me, I had to get use to what full really was.  It's not the feeling we'd get from overeating.  It's a satisfied feeling and then you stop.  When you eat slow, you'll feel satisfied, which is something we were not use to before.  So get use to that feeling and that will be your trigger to stop eating.  At 9 months, I'm still not able to get in more than 1/2 cup of food at each meal.  I make sure that protein is first, then veggies followed by whatever carb I decide to have (carrots, potato, etc.)  When you're first out, you cannot tell because you are still healing.  The first few months the feeling was pain if I tried to put to much in my pouch (which was hardly anything).  Make this your time to put good habits in place and live by.
