Biotin

Last vitamin supplement post of the day -  How much Biotin do you take, if any?  And did you stop until you could take pills?  I haven't seen a chewable Biotin.   Julie

Hi Julie,   I haven't taken any Biotin.  There is enough meds/vits that I have to ake that I haven't taken anything that my surgeon doesn't require. ~Cher

I take 5000 iu of biotin daily and have since the dayi got home from surgery

I have the 5,000 mg biotin, but it seemed like a really high dose.  Have either of you had horrible hair loss?

oops i meant 5000mg biotin my hair loss started around 1 month post op. it seems to be pretty bad now, clumps when i comb it.  I get in all my protein, vitamins plus biotin.  Hair loss is pretty much a given. its bound to happen to all of us.

I'll have to get a good cut
